We're delighted to announce that former Senior Tax Manager, Paula Joyce has been appointed as Tax Partner.
Paula joined the firm in 2011 and has most recently been working within our tax advisory department. This new role will see Paula remain based at our Alton office, taking on more responsibilities across the firm.
Paula qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant (FCCA) within practice in 2002. She then spent a number of years in financial accountant/controller roles where she gained invaluable business and commercial experience, advising on financial, accounting and taxation issues, before making the move back to practice in 2007. Paula is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Tax Advisors (CTA).
Talking about the changes, Paula commented: “I am excited to be stepping up to my new role as Tax Partner at Sheen Stickland, and am looking forward to working alongside both existing and future clients. The prominence and landscape of taxation is ever changing and it is becoming increasingly important when providing tax advice to draw on a wider set of knowledge, skill and experience to support a more holistic approach. I feel we are very lucky at Sheen Stickland to have such a diverse, skilled and experienced team which enables us to provide this support to our clients across all aspects of their taxation, business, accounting and finance endeavours. Sheen Stickland has been a prominent local firm since 1944 and I am delighted to be in a position to provide the technical skills and business support to continue to support the firm’s progression.”
We have seen exciting changes over the last couple of years with the appointment of new Partners in our Chicheser and Alton offices, as well as a new office in Petersfield. This steady development is a reflection of both our strong client relationships and the thriving business communities in the Sussex and Hampshire areas.
